The Hearing Aid Factory

Clinically proven to deliver better than normal hearing and to reduce listening effort.
The world’s first technology that outperforms normal hearing.
The following is information supplied by Siemens/Signia about their technology:

In order to emulate natural binaural listening and its advantages, the two binax hearing aids are linked. The outstanding e2e wireless™ 3.0 data transmission technology enables exchange of audio signals between two hearing aids, so they can work with input from both ears just like the brain.

As a result, the hearing aids not only use the information picked up by their own two microphones, but also the acoustic signal from the two microphones of the other hearing aid. This way, each one works with input from four microphones. So together as a bilateral pair, they create a virtual eight-microphone network.

With binax, we deliver two clinically-proven world firsts – better than normal hearing in challenging listening environments like busy restaurants, and clinically-proven reduced listening effort throughout the day. To design our hearing aids, Signia engineers drew inspiration from how you hear naturally. Just like the brain uses sound input from both ears, our primax hearing aids share and exchange signals received from both hearing aids.

When you hear a sound in both ears, it’s like hearing the same sound twice. This helps your brain create a better perceptual image of the sound. In situations where there is both noise and speech, hearing with both ears helps your brain give speech sounds preference over noise. This makes speech seem louder than it really is. In noisy situations, with many different sounds coming from different places, hearing with both ears helps your brain pick out the one sound source you’re interested in and focus on it.

When you have hearing loss, these effects are significantly reduced. Similar to the natural binaural processing in the brain, the two hearing aids can make more intelligent processing decisions together. By emulating the effects of binaural hearing, primax hearing aids can deliver better clarity, richness of sound, and a greater ability to know where sound is coming from.

This is why binax hearing aids are clinically proven to deliver better than normal hearing, with less listening effort.
